Kim’s Makgeolli Starter Set (5 bottles)

I’m so happy I stumbled upon Kim’s Makgeolli! Not only was the makgeolli absolutely delicious, but the owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming. While all the flavors are a must-try, the Classic, Mango, and Strawberry were my personal favorites. It’s a total gem—highly recommend!

Being a "newbie" to the world of Sojus and Makgeollis, I find that the Kim's Makgeolli tastes a little sweeter and has a little less of that unique Makgeolli (rice/nuruk) taste which I like very much personally. The flavoured Makgeollis are quite unique and I really enjoy them. Also, learning that it is a local brewery from the GTA, I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect drink for the holiday season. Has a nice chestnut flavour along with a hint of cinnamon. I drink it chilled but makes ya feel warm and fuzzy! Highly recommend!

Kim's Makgeolli is my personal best discovery in 2025! Apart from being simply delicious, it’s also a high-quality rice wine made from natural ingredients. You can tell the quality from the very first sip! I tried four flavors - the original, strawberry, mango and ginger-cinnamon - and it's hard to pick the winner as they are equally good. Each one has its own twist but they're all creamy, slightly fizzy, refreshing and extremely smooth. Kim's Makgeolli is not your regular wine - it's full of character and incredibly easy to drink! I enjoy Makgeolli as a tasty dessert drink, but it goes great with food too. Discovered Kim's Makgeolli by chance, and now it has become my family’s favorite drink.

Kim’s makgeolli chestnut is my favorite! I have tried all of their makgeollis and quite a few imported ones. The chestnut has a wonderful creaminess with nutty roasted notes.

Great variety and a way to share the experience of Makgeolli. The taste was from Traditional to Sweet Fruity flavours in this Rice beverage. Very tasty!
Also I will use some as gifts when I go visiting over the Holidays so I can share my love for Korean Food and culture. So getting a few of the bowls was perfect! As it is the true way to enjoy this drink.
